APPLICATIONS OF DECISION-TEMPING IN THE SCHEDULES OF THE DOCENT'S WORK IN THE USE OF ADDITIVE RATIO ASSESSMENT METHODS
Abstract
This research aims to develop an effective decision-making application in determining the level of satisfaction of the performance of lecturers in the academic environment of computer engineering at Islamic University of North Sumatra using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. The ARAS method was chosen because of its ability in evaluating and comparing various alternatives based on a number of defined criteria. In this context, the criteria used include pedagogical competence, research ability, contributions to the institution, and feedback from students. The application is designed to facilitate management in carrying out an objective and accurate assessment, thus can improve the quality of education and performance of teachers. The implementation results show that the application is able to provide relevant and valid recommendations, and is expected to be used as a reliable tool in the process of evaluation of performance of lecturers in the academic environment of computer engineering of Islamic universities of northern Sumatra.3 Keywords: Decision Support System, Teacher Performance Assessment, NIVEA
