Implementation of a population administration data management application using extreme programming and interpolation search and quick sort algorithms in Namo Buaya village

Abstract

The development of information technology in the current era is really needed by people and even agencies. As in the case of Namo Buaya Village, where they carry out several activities that still use manual methods, such as population data collection activities, namely by writing with books. Then it is difficult for residents to find out the information that has been provided by the village and from several residents who have helped the village. The aim of this research is to create an application that is capable of carrying out activities such as web-based data collection, then implementing the Interpolation Search and Quick Sort algorithms in the village community application so that it can help the process of searching for population data. From application testing that has been carried out using the Extreme Programming method, the conclusion is that the process of collecting citizen data can be carried out easily and efficiently, the process of difficulties in searching for data can be resolved well using the Interpolation Search and Quick Sort algorithms.
